On June 13-14th, Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation hosted its annual
Fun & Education Weekend at Olympia Resort in Oconomowoc.
Nearly 150 individuals attended this education and networking filled
weekend. Participants attended sessions on budgeting,
exercise, medical information, parenting, hemophilia camp, employee
rights and advocacy. Special youth programming sessions and
childcare were also provided. The weekend offered Wisconsin
families, new and old, with ample time to connect and share stories
and advice about living with a bleeding disorder. The weekend
wrapped up with a fitness walk and picnic at the park.
