We
hope you enjoyed the Wisconsin Bleeding Disorders Conference as much
as we did in planning and implementing it! From the kick-off
session by Phil Kucab, to the ethics panel, to the ask-the-doctor
session, and the healthcare reform update, the planning committee
worked hard to ensure the information we shared was relevant and
helpful.
The energy
from the youth sessions carried over
to dinner when we all enjoyed the
international skits, the Irish
dancers and the impromptu Latino
music! After all the education,
networking and entertainment, it is
hard to believe most of you still
had the energy to hit the water
park!
For those
of you who could not attend this
year, we hope you’ll join us next
year for Life’s A Stage - Act Two.
We are committed to offering
up-to-date medical information and
other sessions that are relevant to
individuals and families living with
bleeding disorders as well as
information that may enhance your
general health and well-being.
Please let us know if you have ideas
for sessions, speakers and locations
that you would like us to consider,
info@glhf.org. Your suggestions
will help us build on the success of
this year’s conference and ensure
that the 2011 Wisconsin Bleeding
Disorders Conference has the
information and opportunities that
are most relevant to you.
Thanks for
helping us build a strong, positive
and vital bleeding disorders
community in Wisconsin.
Enjoy the
summer,
Sandy
