Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation respects patient and family freedom of choice. When the need for factor distribution to a patient for use at home is identified, patients and families have a right to choose their vendor.
When choosing a factor provider, it is important to ask both the factor provider and your insurance provider several questions. Click here, for a list of suggested questions. We encourage you to “interview” more than one provider to insure that you are receiving the best service and care for you or your child. Compare the prices and services of each agency carefully before making your decision. It is also important to note that your insurance company may dictate your options, so check with your insurance provider before contacting the factor providers.
The following list of vendors is not all-inclusive. There are many factor companies and not all are included on this list, but these are the companies with whom Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation is most familiar. Some companies listed include their logo that links to their website. They have paid for this promotional messaging opportunity. GLHF does not endorse any products, as we are not medical professionals. We respect that all treatment decisions are between you and your doctor. If your insurance company recommends someone not on the list, please contact us and we will see if we can obtain information on those agencies.
