Patient Financial Assistance Program

Do you need help paying for medical bills, insurance premiums, basic living needs or a medic alert bracelet?
GLHF can help if you meet the requirements of the GLHF Patient Financial Assistance Program.

To qualify, a patient/family must:

  • Be a Wisconsin resident registered with GLHF.
  • Have a diagnosis of hemophilia, severe von Willebrand disease or other bleeding disorder served by GLHF.
  • Complete a Patient Financial Assistant application and meet the financial needs requirements.

           The Program provides:

    • Grants for uncovered insurance premiums for individuals with hemophilia or severe von Willebrand disease.
    • Grants for uncovered medical bills and basic living needs.
    • Payment for Medic Alert Bracelets

GLHF can provide assistance with insurance questions by working as a liaison with the patient

Education and Training Assistance Program

  • Scholarship funds for academic and career advancement.
  • Scholarships for individual classes which will enhance career advancement.
